NorthWest Healthcare Staffing (NWH) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) Scheme.
We disclose personal information only to: client facilities (for shift coordination); regulatory bodies (AHPRA, NDIS Commission, aged care regulators); payroll and accounting service providers; and as required by law. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Health information (including vaccination records, police checks, WWCC results and AHPRA registration details) is treated as sensitive information under the Privacy Act and collected only with your consent or as required by law.
Personal information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Physical documents are kept in locked storage. We retain information only as long as required by law or operational necessity, then securely destroy it.
NWH may send shift availability updates and service communications to nurses and client facilities by email, SMS and/or WhatsApp. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us at info@nwhstaffing.com.au or by using the unsubscribe mechanism in any message we send. Opting out of marketing does not affect operational communications required for your engagement with NWH.
Some of our service providers (including email, cloud storage and payroll software providers) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure such providers maintain privacy protections consistent with the APPs. By engaging NWH, you consent to such transfers to the extent necessary to deliver our services.

NWH does not currently use automated, AI-based or algorithmic systems to make decisions about nurse placements, client relationships or any other matter that affects individuals. All such decisions are made by NWH staff. Should this change, we will update this policy accordingly.
In the event of an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme (Privacy Act 1988, Part IIIC) — that is, a breach likely to result in serious harm to any individual — NWH will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and all affected individuals as required by law, within 30 days of becoming aware of the breach. We will provide details of the breach, the information involved, and the steps we are taking to address it.
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@nwhstaffing.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. We may decline requests where the Privacy Act permits us to do so.
If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first at info@nwhstaffing.com.au. If your concern is not resolved within 30 days, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this website. The ‘last updated’ date at the top of this policy reflects when it was last revised.

NorthWest Healthcare Staffing (NWH) provides healthcare workforce solutions connecting registered nurses (RNs), enrolled nurses (ENs) and allied health professionals with healthcare facilities and NDIS providers across NSW. Accessing this website or engaging NWH services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Nurses engaged through NWH are employed as casual employees under the Nurses Award 2020 (MA000034), administered by the Fair Work Commission. All entitlements including casual loading, superannuation at the rate required by law from time to time (currently 12% from 1 July 2025 under the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992), and penalty rates are paid in accordance with the Award.
All nurses supplied by NWH hold current AHPRA registration, a valid National Police Check, and a Working With Children Check (NSW). NWH verifies AHPRA registration against the public register on the day of every shift deployment. Client facilities are notified of nurse credentials prior to each shift.
Client facilities must: provide a safe working environment compliant with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW); provide adequate orientation for agency nurses to their specific facility; provide accurate shift information at the time of booking; and notify NWH immediately of any clinical incident or concern involving a placed nurse.
NWH is not currently a registered NDIS provider. NWH may provide nursing support services to NDIS participants who self-manage their plans, as unregistered providers may supply services to self-managed participants under the NDIS (Providers Registration and Practice Standards) Rules 2018. NWH does not accept referrals for plan-managed or agency-managed NDIS participants until NDIS provider registration is confirmed. This notice will be updated when registration status changes. NWH does not display the NDIS logo or claim NDIS endorsement or approval.
Invoices are issued on the same day as shift completion. Standard payment terms are 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing in a Client Facility Agreement. Invoices not paid within terms attract a late payment charge of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. NWH reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with invoices overdue by more than 30 days.
To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), NWH excludes all liability for indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss arising from or in connection with the supply of services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
Where statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot lawfully be excluded, NWH’s liability is limited, at NWH’s election, to: re-supplying the relevant service; or paying the cost of having the relevant service re-supplied. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by NWH’s gross negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
NWH carries public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Certificates of currency are available on request. Client facilities should not rely on NWH’s insurance as a substitute for their own facility insurance obligations.

The “NorthWest Healthcare Staffing” and “NWH” names and logos are proprietary to NWH. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or use of any NWH intellectual property is prohibited and may constitute an infringement of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and Trade Marks Act 1995 (Cth).
If a dispute arises in connection with these terms or NWH’s services, the aggrieved party must provide written notice to the other party at the contact details on this website. The parties have 14 days from the date of notice to resolve the dispute informally and in good faith. If unresolved after 14 days, the parties agree to attempt mediation via NSW Fair Trading’s mediation service before commencing any court proceedings. The costs of mediation are shared equally unless otherwise agreed. These obligations do not prevent either party seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court.
NWH is not liable for any delay or failure to fulfil its obligations under these terms caused by circumstances beyond NWH’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: public health emergencies or pandemics; natural disasters; industrial action by third parties; power or internet outages; AHPRA registration system failures; or government-mandated restrictions. NWH will notify affected clients or nurses as soon as practicable and will use reasonable endeavours to minimise any disruption.
NWH offers a $150 referral bonus subject to the following conditions: (a) the bonus is payable to the referring party upon the referred nurse completing their first shift with NWH; (b) the referred nurse must not already be registered with NWH at the time of referral; (c) payment is processed on the first Friday following completion of the referred nurse’s first shift; (d) self-referrals do not qualify; (e) a maximum of 10 qualifying referrals per individual per calendar year applies; (f) NWH reserves the right to modify or withdraw this offer with 14 days’ notice; (g) the bonus does not constitute wages or employment income for the referring party — tax obligations (if any) are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
NWH may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this website. Continued use of NWH’s services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
